First Flush Darjeeling 2025

This year's First Flush harvest in Darjeeling is about to get started and once again, we have selected some very special black tea highlights for you.
 
These teas are a rarity and in high demand, therefore the availability is very limited. We only have a certain amount available and once they are sold out, they will not be coming back. So don’t wait too long with placing your order.

The offered teas can only be purchased through pre-order. They will then be airfreighted to our warehouse in Aurora, so we can ship them to you as soon as possible.

Tariffs on products with country of origin China

As you have heard in the news, the current U.S. Administration has imposed an additional 20% tariff on all products with the country of origin from China, effective immediately.

At Dethlefsen & Balk, we always strive for fair and competitive price calculations, but this also means that we cannot absorb such increases in our costs.

Please note that starting April 1st, 2025, our sales prices for products with country of origin from China will be increased.

This affects a range of our catalog teas, as well as accessories, and may also affect some of your custom blends. Please check our website and your order confirmations for current prices.

Rest assured that we will reduce our prices again as soon as those tariffs are lifted. In addition, we will continue to do our best to keep all prices as low as possible.

Price Adaptation Coffee Catalog

You may have heard in the press that the current prices for green coffee have reached an extremely high level following a steep rise over the past year. This development continues to inflate the prices of all coffees and leaves a clear mark on the industry. 

Thanks to our pre-arranged contracts, we were able to keep our prices stable for a long time.
