Bancha


The harvest takes place towards the end of the growing season which yields a thicker, fibrous leaf and a lower caffeine content. The large leaf, the tangy, slightly bitter taste as well as its low caffeine content are characteristic of the Japan Bancha. The Japanese cannot imagine their daily life without this tea!

Taste: light, with a pleasing, slightly tangy note.

Water temperature: 75 – 80°C
