Orthodox

There are two different procedures in tea production. On the one hand the CTC production which produces an equal leaf for quickly colouring, strong infusions via a short production process. On the other hand, the orthodox production which can be called common and produces every variety of leaf teas. With respect to the orthodox production, the following production steps are followed: 1. Withering 2. Rolling 3. Fermentation 4. Drying 5. Sorting. Different leaf grades and qualities are produced following these steps.
