The island Sri Lanka
(earlier: Ceylon) is situated 7° 00' North and 81° 00' East in the
Indian ocean south of india. It forms the insular state of the same
name which was originally called Ceylon. The south eastern UVA district
produces pleasantly herb, high-quality teas. The western Dimbula
district is famous for delicious, golden-coloured teas while very
aromatic teas with a golden-yellow infusion origin in the 2,000 metres
high mountains of Nuwara Eliya.
