Tea Brick

Tea pressed into the form of a brick was the main method for storing and transporting tea for a long period of time. The bricks were pressed from tea leaves and rice water and decorated with ornaments. For consumption, the adequate amount of tea was grated off. Today, this type of storage is hardly used and bricks usually are for decoration only.
