Temi
is a very popular plantation from the north east of Darjeeling in the
former kingdom Sikkim. The region is approximately the size of the
Lueneburg Heath. Due to a maximum altitude of 8,200 metres, almost all
climatic zones, from subtropical to arctic, are present. Annual harvest
amounts are expectedly low, but the teas are of exceptional quality,
similar to those of Darjeeling with an even softer cup.
