Also called "dew of a pearl" and "most exquisite dew drop". Shade tea grown under a bamboo sunshade, plucked at the end of April/May, has a deep green, very fine leaf and a unique flavor: An outstanding top quality and an absolute rarity. Due to global limited availability we cannot guarantee a continuous supply.
We are expanding our Matcha range to include this upmarket consumer quality! While our existing Japanesevarieties are intended more for pure enjoyment, this attractively priced quality is particularly suitable for mixed drinks such as matcha latte or for creative use in the kitchen for baking or cooking. The bright green powder is very finely ground and therefore delivers an intense flavor profile of vegetal, slightly bitter notes with a hint of umami.
Since the matcha boom, powdered tea has now really arrived in the West. In the meantime, however, the next innovation is just around the corner: Hojicha powder. For this, a heavily roasted green tea is ground into the finest powder. In contrast to the Hojicha teas that are usually produced in the fall harvest, our Hojicha powder is based on select qualities from the 1st and 2nd harvest. Due to the strong roasting, the tea caramelizes and has almost no bitter substances. Prepared like matcha, it produces an incredibly full-bodied taste experience with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and a lovely sweetness. Also excellent as a hojicha latte with frothed milk or as an ingredient for baking!
Discover our refreshing, aromatic tea - a harmonious composition of exquisite ingredients that satisfies your senses. Fresh mint and lemon verbena, sweet apple pieces and lemon peel are in perfect harmony with the green tea base. Slices of dried feijoa and bright whole hop cones round off the extraordinary appearance. Sweet, fruity notes of feijoa, oranges and sparkling lime pamper the palate.
A stroll through an orchard of pistachio trees with an ice-cream prompts our new creation. Fruity raspberries frolic on our mild green tea and support the creamy, slightly nutty note of pistachio ice cream.
