We all know the story of the Earl Grey of Howick Hall. He was Prime Minister of England in the 1830s. From a Chinese Mandarin he was given tea scented with bergamot oil as a present. He was so delighted by this tea, that he drank only this variety from then on, and thus made Earl Grey the most popular flavored tea in the world. Our Earl Grey is based traditionally on a China blend, and is a must to every standard tea assortment.
A composition which is just as delicious as its name promises. A perfect combination: melted, creamy and sweet chocolate, a dash of cream skimmed off fresh milk and light sponge cake from which the creamy truffle mass is produced. This mild black tea makes every sweet tooth forget the creamy desserts in the refrigerator and the chocolates on the table.
Here we have chosen a wonderfully balanced blend of the finest black teas from Ceylon and China that puts a special focus on a stronger cup. Cocoa peel and coriander underline the tart yet sweet chocolate flavors of cocoa and dark chocolate. A true temptation, which you should also try with a little bit of milk.
We were fascinated by the popular Canadian tradition of making Maple Taffy. Heated maple syrup is poured onto a layer of snow, which rapidly cools the syrup and thickens it. The result: a wonderful delicacy which melts on your tongue! Of course, we have added real, dehydrated maple syrup and a hint of cinnamon to our creation. This sweet delicacy will also surely put you into the mood for a snowball fight thanks to the added white popcorn snowballs in this blend.
The South Sea – home of many exotic shiny fruits and scents. This extraordinary composition captures the magic of far away, sunny places of this world, which are the origin of our dreams. The blazing colors of the added blossoms and the sweet fruit pieces are reminiscent of the colorful South. The taste of refreshing mango, passion fruit and papaya is like a trip from our hectic day to warmer places. An irresistible taste experience!
