Red Hibiscus

Preparation:

Brew the hibiscus blossoms with 4 cups of boiling water and let it steep for at least 15 minutes, adding the cinnamon stick for the last 10 minutes. Pour the tea into a jug filled with ice and leave it to cool. In the meantime, juice half a lemon and slice the other half. Add 2 tblsp. each of lemon juice and honey or agave syrup to the iced tea. Now, this vibrant, slightly tart, and naturally caffeine-free refreshment is ready to be enjoyed over ice, decorated with lemon slices and mint.

Extra Tip: Tropical Alternative

For a tropical twist, add 1 cup of coconut water!

    • 1 organic lemon
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • handful of fresh mint
    • 1 cup of coconut water (optional)
    • ice cubes
